I am L.C. "Butch" Ammons, owner and sole employee of Bayou Audio Cables, located in Baton Rouge Louisiana, just east of the beautiful Atchafayala Spillway. I make all cables one at a time, custom to order. 12/22/09 - The mini connector for the X2 wireless cables is out of stock in the U.S. The lead time to get them is 8 - 10 weeks. I will be making them again when I get more of the connectors.
11/16/09 - I have Canare GS-6 cables set up for custom ordering as well as speaker cables. These will be made custom when ordered. I am taking orders for other custom cables on a limited basis. Let me know what you need and I will get back to you with pricing. Click here to contact me.
6/16/2009 - Due to the downturn in the economy, I had to take a regular job. Bayou Audio Cables is a part time job for me now. I am working over 80 hours a week between the two jobs. There is a lot of hype used to market audio cables. The truth is that the most important factors concerning sound are shielding and capacitance. Proper selection of cable and connectors and proper soldering keep signal loss to the minimum possible. My custom built cables are made from some of the best materials available, Canare cable, G&H and Neutrik connectors, and lead free 3% silver Kester solder. Each custom cable is made to order one at a time.More information on these products is available in the Information pages on the right >>>
I custom build all types of instrument cables, microphone cables, bridging speaker cables, RCA patch cables, Alembic Series cables, Bogner Shiva effects loop cables, and other specialty cables.
